How invigorating it is to know that the nautical
world is stuff of children's literature. To answer
your question, yes, something of the sort could
happen with rigging, though it is highly
improbable. Seamen are trained to never make such
a mistake, and most likely, the perpitraitor could
end up dead or flogged as a result. If you have
